Furniture collection BOSTON is primarily a combination of unique oak solid wood with furniture plate. All furniture of this collection is in two color variations. One colour version is a combination of natural oak solid wood and a grey laminated plate. In contrast, the second colour version is a combination of rustic oak solid wood with laminate plate in ivory color. Characteristic element for this collection is also the opening of fronts by use of extremely comfortable tip-on system. Variety of furniture will allow you to arrange an office as well as living room or bedroom, where they will create a cozy space.
Advantages and care of lacquered furniture
Wooden furniture protected with lacquer is extremely easy to care for. Dust, dirt and other contaminants can be removed with soft, dry cloth, e.g. from microfiber. When using special product for cleaning lacquered wood, you should first apply it to cloth and later on wood. Cleaning removes the protective layer that is on the furniture. Therefore, after cleaning the furniture, it is necessary to secure it. Wooden furniture doesn't like water, so you shouldn't wash it with water and liquid. Remember that there are different wood finishes (e.g. gloss, matt) and there is a different care product for each. Glossy furniture over time can slightly matte. Therefore, for preservation, use a suitable and intended for this product, which will give beautiful shine. Good maintenance product will mask scratches created on the lacquered surface during use (to remove deep scratches, furniture should be renovated).
Advantages and care of oiled furniture
Care of oiled furniture isn't particularly difficult, but it requires the application of several rules and, above all, regularity. Oiled wood is cleaned every day with dry or gently moistened, soft cloth, according to the arrangement of the grains. Don't wash oiled furniture with strong detergents! Oiled wooden furniture is always cleaned only with mild agents designed specifically for them. Good way to preserve the beauty of oiled furniture is to clean it every 2 months with cloth soaked in the same oil with which it was oiled. Depending on some time, it is also worth carrying out another oiling procedure. Especially solid wood table tops finished with oil need to be covered with oil again from time to time. Wood absorbs oil gradually, so oiling should be done systematically, several times a year. This will make them look like new.
