Wooden dresser with drawers to living room LAGOS I

Living room chest of drawers LAGOS I – organised storage without a bulky look

Living room chest of drawers LAGOS I is designed for people who need plenty of closed storage without one repetitive row of identical compartments. Seven touch-open drawers keep documents, textiles, accessories and smaller everyday items easy to sort, while two cabinets with internal shelves provide room for bulkier things that are better stored behind doors. The mixed layout works well in several rooms: in a living room it can hold media accessories, games and household items; in a bedroom it can organise clothing and personal belongings; in a home office it gives paperwork and equipment a place. Black glass inserts and oak elements break up the front and give the piece a more distinctive look than a conventional all-drawer unit. Seven drawers, two cabinets and materials you can coordinate with the interior

LAGOS I is not a solid-oak chest. Its body is made from laminated board, available in Dark Oak or Black, while the fronts and legs are oak. The oak elements can be ordered in a range of finishes, so the piece can stay relatively light or take on a darker look alongside the black glass. The seven drawers open by touch and run on concealed guides, keeping the front clean and free from extra handles. The two cabinets have shelves and soft-close doors, allowing larger objects to be separated from smaller items stored in the drawers. This matters when one piece of furniture has to handle several types of storage. LAGOS I is delivered ready assembled. To continue the same combination of oak, dark surfaces and black details elsewhere in the room, compare the other pieces in the LAGOS furniture collection.

Order the standard LAGOS I or use it as the basis for an individual adaptation

If the standard seven-drawer and two-cabinet layout matches the way you plan to use the furniture, choose the board colour and the finish of the oak elements and order the model in its standard form. Decide beforehand what will go into the drawers and what needs the larger cabinet compartments; that quickly shows whether the existing layout is right for you. If the model fits your style but the proportions or internal arrangement do not work for the available wall, use the custom dresser enquiry and name LAGOS I as the starting point. Describe the space, the intended use and the change you need; the feasibility can then be assessed for this construction rather than promised in advance. That leaves a clear choice between LAGOS I and a version adapted to a specific room.
