Industrial Oak Display Cabinet DELIO – Solid Oak, Glass and Steel
Industrial oak display cabinet DELIO combines solid oak, glass and black steel in a distinctive yet well-balanced design. The natural grain of the oak gives the cabinet warmth and individuality, while the slim steel base and black metal-framed glass doors introduce a contemporary industrial character. Designed for both display and everyday storage, DELIO works particularly well in a living room, dining room or home office where natural materials are an important part of the interior. The tall, elegant form provides generous storage without making the cabinet feel visually heavy. Glass doors keep favourite objects on display, while the closed drawers provide a practical place for items that are better kept out of sight. The combination of oak, glass and metal makes DELIO easy to pair with both modern furniture and more traditional interiors built around natural wood.
Solid Oak Display Cabinet with Glass Shelves and TIP-ON Drawers
Behind the glazed doors are four glass shelves offering space for glassware, ceramics, books, decorative objects or a carefully selected collection. The transparent shelves allow light to move through the interior of the cabinet and keep the displayed items visually prominent. Black metal frames and handles add definition to the glazed section and create a strong contrast with the natural oak. At the bottom of the cabinet, two TIP-ON drawers provide additional concealed storage without interrupting the clean lines of the furniture. The touch-opening system supports the minimalist appearance of the front, while the solid oak construction gives DELIO the substantial feel expected from premium wooden furniture. The cabinet is supplied ready assembled, so no on-site assembly is required.
Oak Display Cabinet for the Living Room, Dining Room or Office
DELIO can be used as a display cabinet in the living room, a cabinet for tableware in the dining room or an elegant storage piece in a private office. Its combination of open display space and concealed drawers makes it practical for interiors where storage needs to remain organised without hiding everything behind solid fronts. If you are comparing different cabinet constructions, explore our oak display cabinets and the more specific selection of wooden display cabinets. The cabinet is part of the DELIO furniture collection, allowing it to be combined with other pieces based on the same relationship between natural oak and metal details. This makes it easier to create a consistent living or dining space rather than combining furniture with unrelated proportions and finishes.
Customize the DELIO Oak Display Cabinet
The appearance of DELIO can be adapted through the available wood finishes, making it easier to coordinate the cabinet with flooring, tables and other furniture in the room. If the standard configuration does not fully suit your interior, visit Glass Cabinet Customization and describe the changes you need. Individual modifications can then be reviewed for feasibility while the standard DELIO remains focused on its main product intent as an industrial oak display cabinet.

Advantages and care of lacquered furniture
Wooden furniture protected with lacquer is extremely easy to care for. Dust, dirt and other contaminants can be removed with soft, dry cloth, e.g. from microfiber. When using special product for cleaning lacquered wood, you should first apply it to cloth and later on wood. Cleaning removes the protective layer that is on the furniture. Therefore, after cleaning the furniture, it is necessary to secure it. Wooden furniture doesn't like water, so you shouldn't wash it with water and liquid. Remember that there are different wood finishes (e.g. gloss, matt) and there is a different care product for each. Glossy furniture over time can slightly matte. Therefore, for preservation, use a suitable and intended for this product, which will give beautiful shine. Good maintenance product will mask scratches created on the lacquered surface during use (to remove deep scratches, furniture should be renovated).
Advantages and care of oiled furniture
Care of oiled furniture isn't particularly difficult, but it requires the application of several rules and, above all, regularity. Oiled wood is cleaned every day with dry or gently moistened, soft cloth, according to the arrangement of the grains. Don't wash oiled furniture with strong detergents! Oiled wooden furniture is always cleaned only with mild agents designed specifically for them. Good way to preserve the beauty of oiled furniture is to clean it every 2 months with cloth soaked in the same oil with which it was oiled. Depending on some time, it is also worth carrying out another oiling procedure. Especially solid wood table tops finished with oil need to be covered with oil again from time to time. Wood absorbs oil gradually, so oiling should be done systematically, several times a year. This will make them look like new.
